Where You’ll Come in:   At Open Farm, we are passionate about sharing our message of sustainable, ethically sourced nutrition with pet parents. We are looking for someone who shares this belief to join as our Assistant Brand Manager, Innovation. In this role, you will assist with the launch of several innovations while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers and our retailer partners. You will assist in market research, competitive analysis and forecasting to prioritize innovation and will own project timelines, key milestones and project status tracking. You will foster new ideas and assist the team in bringing innovation to market successfully while creating industry leading products and mission innovation that shape our growth strategy.

How you’ll Make An Impact: (If this looks enticing, click “Apply”!)

  • The Assistant Brand Manager, Innovation will provide marketing, quantitative, qualitative and project management for key innovation projects. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Project Management – Assist in developing and managing timelines and key milestones to achieve successful product launches. Support in cross-functional project management, and communication of project status across the organization.
  • Data Analysis & Market Research – Assist on market, competitive, and consumer research projects to help support innovation projects and product optimization. Provide and implement business recommendations to internal stakeholders from your analysis of consumer insights and industry data.
  • Communication – Collaborate and effectively manage relationships with internal cross-functional teams, and vendors to develop and execute programs that align with company goals, objectives, and strategies.
  • Product Launch Support – Assist on revenue forecasting and pricing analysis to position new products in the market, and support in the development and procurement of key launch materials including internal team training and marketing assets.

We’re Excited About You Because:

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in marketing, marketing analytics, innovation, or project management
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Quantitative/analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills - this role will have you supporting a rapidly growing business with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial, passionate and enthusiastic to work in a fast-growing company
  • Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or pet industry highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada (approximately 10%)
