M. Irene Gunawan is an accomplished professional in the pet food and nutrition industry with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as the Director of Research Development at Open Farm Pet since June 2022, M. Irene Gunawan has also operated as a self-employed R&D consultant since October 2016. Previous roles include Research and Development Specialist at Solid Gold Pet, Director of R&D at Nature's Variety, and various positions with Nestle Purina Pet Care Company, where contributions included formulation support and product innovation. M. Irene Gunawan's earlier experience includes a strong foundation in food technology and scientific research, holding a Master of Science in Food Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Purdue University.
