Alex Glaros is an experienced consultant currently supporting analysis of opportunities and design considerations for building-integrated agriculture at Perkins&Will since July 2024. In addition, Alex serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Food and Agriculture Institute and has been a Research Assistant for the Open Food Network since September 2019, contributing to local food system initiatives. Previous roles include Social Impact Lead at The Better Food Company, Researcher at the University of the Fraser Valley, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph, demonstrating a strong background in research, education, and community engagement related to food systems and environmental governance. Alex holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Guelph, along with a Master's degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Western University.
