Johan Knapp

Johan Knapp has worked in a variety of roles in the mining industry since 2009. Johan began their career as a Rugby Player for the London Irish Rugby Club in 2009. In 2014, they were a Mining Analyst for Best Asset Class, followed by a role as a Geological Engineer for Kagem Mining Limited in 2015. In 2016, they co-founded Wellness in Sport and served as an Instructor. From 2017 to 2019, they were part of the founding team of Longkey Technology (ChinaHow), responsible for product and business development. In 2019, they founded Rewire: Technology Events, an international technology events series. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Product & Business Development for Zhongyu Science & Technology. In 2020, they were a Senior Consultant for Na Han Consulting and a Senior Consultant for Best Asset Class AG. Johan currently serves as the Business Lead - Concentrate Marketing for Open Mineral, based in Switzerland.

Johan Knapp attended Xiamen University from 2016 to 2017, where they studied Chinese. Johan then completed a Master of Science in Engineering Geology at the University of Portsmouth from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Earth & Environmental Science from the University of Cape Town from 2011 to 2013.
