James Dowling

James Dowling serves as the Director of Talent Management at Open Society Foundations since July 2022, overseeing leadership, learning and development, performance management, talent management, and talent acquisition. With extensive experience in human resources and talent management, James has held significant roles such as Global Head of Talent at Lloyd's, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Publicis Sapient, and Head of Talent Engagement at Diageo. James has been a member of the RL100 at The Recruitment Events Co. since April 2017 and has contributed to initiatives aimed at mentoring future leaders. Previous roles include Group Head of Strategic Resourcing at Bupa and Group Executive Talent Manager at Centrica, covering various strategic talent functions across multiple regions and industries. James holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Sociology from the University of Surrey.
