Lee Wilkins

Open Hardware Summit Chair at Open Source Hardware Association

Lee Wilkins is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Director at Radio Snack since November 2023 and as part-time faculty at Concordia University, focusing on programming, code, and physical computing. An accomplished artist and educator, Lee has held roles as Artist in Residence at Concordia University and adjunct faculty at both Ryerson University and OCAD University, where expertise in wearable technology and electronic arts has been imparted. Lee has also been influential as the Open Hardware Summit Chair for the Open Source Hardware Association and as a writer for Make:, contributing a quarterly column titled Squishy Tech. With a strong background in leadership, Lee co-founded Little Dada, serving as Co Executive Director, and previously held positions including Senior Technical Lead at Ryerson University and Senior Manager of R&D at Sheertex. Educational credentials include a PhD in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Toronto, an MFA from OCAD University, a BFA from Concordia University, and studies in Visual Arts at Dawson College.
