Cellular Screening Specialist at Open Targets

Emma Duncan has extensive experience in research and cellular screening. Emma worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The Babraham Institute, investigating key components of autophagic protein degradation pathways. Additionally, Emma was a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London, focusing on the cellular consequences of disrupted sacsin function in neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, Emma holds the position of Cellular Screening Specialist at Open Targets, where Emma validates targets from genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screens in oncology.
