Loizos Loukaidis

Loizos Loukaidis is an experienced educator and director known for contributions to peace education and reconciliation in Cyprus. Serving as the Director and Educational Programs Officer at the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) since 2013, Loizos has led numerous educational projects, including the 'Imagine' Project, which fosters collaboration among students and teachers from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, Loizos is a Scientific Associate at the Open University of Cyprus, engaging in research on pedagogical approaches and intercultural education. Previous experience includes a role as a Primary School Teacher at the Ministry of Education and Culture, where Loizos championed campaigns for peace and cultural nonviolence. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Peace Education from the University for Peace and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
