Abby Johnson

Abby Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Abby most recently worked at Open Up Resources as the Managing Director of the Sales Team, where they focused on increasing equity in K-12 education by making high-quality curricula accessible to schools and districts. Prior to that, Abby worked as the ELA Field Specialist Team Leader and ELA Field Specialist at the same company.

Abby also has experience in the publishing industry, having worked as a Freelance Editor at Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. for nearly a decade. Abby has also held positions at Spider Learning, Inc., where they served as the Director of Humanities and a Subject Matter Expert in ELA. At BloomBoard, Inc., they worked as an Account Manager and later as an Account Analyst.

Abby's work experience also includes their time at the University of Pittsburgh, where they worked as an Administrative and Research Assistant. Overall, Abby has a demonstrated track record of success in various roles and industries.

Abby Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fiction Writing and English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a focus on Secondary English Education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education. Abby also obtained additional certifications such as "How to Lead and Inspire Change" and "Social Selling Foundations" from LinkedIn, as well as an English 7-12 certification from the University of Pittsburgh.
