Nicole Rizzo

Nicole Rizzo, M.Ed., currently serves as the Regional Development Manager at Open Up Resources, focusing on high-quality open educational resources in Mathematics and English Language Arts. Previously, Rizzo held the position of Partnerships Associates Team Lead at Mentor Collective, where responsibilities included creating onboarding plans and managing a geographically diverse team. As an Educator at Woodbridge Public Schools, Rizzo led a second-grade team and received a Teacher of the Year nomination while focusing on culturally responsive instructional materials. Rizzo also gained experience in account management at Hearst Magazines and as an intern at Viacom. Educational credentials include a Sixth-Year Diploma in Remedial Reading and Literacy Consulting from Southern Connecticut State University, as well as degrees in Education and Marketing from Teachers College, Columbia University, and the University of New Haven, respectively.
