Behrooz Ghorbani

Behrooz Ghorbani is a member of the technical staff at OpenAI since March 2023, following a robust tenure at Google, where roles included senior research scientist and senior software engineer from July 2020 to March 2023. Ghorbani's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where research focused on machine learning algorithms in high-dimensional settings under the guidance of renowned professors. Prior experience includes software engineering internships at Google and research assistant positions in both the Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver School of Economics. Ghorbani holds a double major in Economics and Mathematics from the University of British Columbia.
