Wenlei X. has extensive experience in software engineering, primarily focused on data processing and analytics across various prominent technology companies. Currently serving as a Human Programmer at an AI Startup since April 2023, Wenlei previously contributed as a Software Engineer at PyTorch, leading the development of next-generation data loading and transformation tools. Prior roles include significant positions at Meta, where advanced nested data processing techniques were designed for Presto, and at LinkedIn, where Wenlei developed graph language extensions for the Cubert framework. Early experience includes research internships at IBM, Google, and Microsoft, along with an impactful software engineering internship at LinkedIn. Wenlei holds a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fudan University.
