Marlies Kooi

Marlies Kooi, BSc, is currently serving as an Intern begeleider at Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen since May 2023. Prior to this role, Marlies worked as an Ambulant Begeleider at Koninklijke Kentalis from January 2017 to May 2023, supporting children with language development disorders in regular primary education. Marlies gained experience as a Logopedist at Vanboeijen from March 2016 to December 2016, focusing on total and alternative communication as well as swallowing issues, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Earlier positions include Logopedist at Logopediepraktijk Totaal, where Marlies worked with children and adults with speech and language issues, and roles in retail and hospitality, providing a diverse professional background. Marlies holds a Bachelor of Education from NHL Stenden and a Bachelor of Speech Therapy from Hanzehogeschool Groningen, and is currently pursuing a Post-HBO degree in Intern begeleider at NHL Stenden.
