Cristian Rus

Cristian Rus has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design and user experience. Cristian currently works at OpenBB as the User Experience Lead, where they are responsible for transforming the existing command line interface into a modern financial research suite. Prior to this, they worked at ExpressVPN as a Product Designer, where they played a key role in designing and developing various products, including browser extensions and a Smart TV app. Before that, they worked at Poken, a leader in the Event Management industry, where they helped reimagine how people exchange information in-person through the use of NFC technology. Cristian also worked at KeepCalling.com as a Senior Designer, focusing on creating visual consistency across digital platforms. Early in their career, Cristian worked at iDesign Romania as a Co-Owner and Creative Partner, leading the Design department and working with numerous global clients.

Cristian Rus completed a short course in User Experience Design at the University of Cape Town from 2020 to 2021. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2006, they attended the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, where they studied Computer Science, although the specific degree obtained is unknown.
