Eva Esteban

Embedded Software Engineer at OpenBCI

Originally from Spain, Eva's passion for technology led her to pursue a career in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the UK. During her studies, she worked at GE Healthcare on neurology research and VR applications to train medical professionals. Presenting her research at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) in Chicago led her to move to the US to pursue her graduate studies at Cornell Tech, where she worked on robotics and BCI technology.

She joined OpenBCI in 2020 and is one of the developers for Galea, a next generation VR headset that integrates BCI technologies. In her free time, she co-founded Unipeers, a non-profit organization to help international students pursue STEM graduate degrees in the US.
