Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz has been working in the software engineering industry for over 7 years. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at OpenComp. Prior to this, they were a Full Stack Engineer and Senior Web Developer at Complex Networks from 2016 to 2022. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Front End Developer at Rail Europe Group, and from 2014 to 2015, they were a Web Developer at Complex Media. During their time at Complex Networks, Jose was responsible for maintaining and refactoring existing codebase, participating in code reviews and technical discussions, leading feature implementation, creating and maintaining internal tools, developing unique microsite's and ad unit experiences, maintaining the network JS tag, implementing optimizations, mentoring junior developers, and interviewing potential new hires.

Jose Diaz obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2017 and a B.S. in Computer Science from UNICDA in 2011. Additionally, they obtained a Beginning iOS (iPhone/iPad) certification from Big Nerd Ranch in February 2013.
