Michael Murakami

Michael Murakami has held various positions in the sports industry since 2006. Michael began their career as the Director of Communications for the Saint John's University Lacrosse Club and Vice President of the Lacrosse Club Student Board. In 2010, they became the Director of Communications for TCM Lacrosse and a Client Services Representative for SportsEngine. Michael also served as a Hub Staff Reporter for SportsEngine, covering Spotlight Games for Minnesota High School boys' varsity regular season and postseason. In 2012, they took on roles at Creighton University, such as Assistant Director of Marketing, Communications & Social Media, Associate Director of Ticketing, and Assistant Director of Ticketing. Michael also became the Primary Webmaster for the Jack Jablonski BEL13VE in Miracles Foundation and a Coach for Wayzata Youth Lacrosse. In 2013, they were a Lacrosse Coach for Nebraska Prime Lacrosse. In 2014, they became the Associate Head Lacrosse Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Finally, in 2018, they joined Opendorse as the NIL Collectives Director, Director of Support, and Customer Success Manager.

Michael Murakami obtained their Bachelor of the Arts degree in Communication and English from Saint John's University between 2006 and 2010.
