Nolan Pruett

Senior Software Engineer at OpenGov

Nolan Pruett started their work experience in 2013 as a Computer Science Lab Assistant and Tutor at Indiana University Southeast. Nolan provided assistance to students in various computer science courses and worked with multiple programming languages. In 2014, they became a Student Web Developer and contributed to the redesign and relaunch of the university's website. Nolan used HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSLT, PHP, and version control systems.

In 2015, Nolan joined UPS as a Computer Science Senior Co-op. Nolan designed a web application to test messages between different UPS architectures and gained knowledge in enterprise application integration technologies.

From 2016 to 2017, they served as an Applications Developer at UPS, where they created documentation, wrote code for JBoss Fuse/ServiceMix environments, acted as a message broker using Apache Camel routes, and conducted unit testing. Nolan also maintained and improved a .NET web application for automated integration testing.

In 2017, they were promoted to Intermediate Applications Developer at UPS and continued their responsibilities.

In 2019, Nolan joined EAGLE6 as a Software Engineer III. Nolan held this role until 2021 and contributed as a software engineer.

Currently, Nolan is working at OpenGov Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in May 2021.

Nolan Pruett pursued their higher education from 2012 to 2016 at Indiana University Southeast, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
