Shannon Wu

Shannon Wu is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the tech and investment sectors. Currently serving as the Founder of OpenHome since December 2023, Wu is focused on launching a revolutionary AI project. Previously, as a member of the founding team at Bloom from October 2017 to September 2022, Wu played a crucial role in the company’s launch, fundraising initiatives that raised $50M, and securing key government partnerships. Wu was also part of the early team at MakerDAO from November 2017 to September 2021, contributing to its growth from $0 to $5B through the promotion of a strong developer community. As the Founder of Mr.Progress from January 2016 to January 2019, Wu served as CMO for several developer-centric firms during critical growth phases, focusing on sectors such as Electric Vehicles, DeFi, and AI. In earlier roles, Wu contributed to investment strategies at FOUNDER.org and served on the Board of Trustees at Stanford University, overseeing its significant endowment. Wu holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
