Kaitlyn Abrams

Executive Director, Head Of Values Based Investing Research at OpenInvest

Kaitlyn Abrams has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a Copyediting Intern at Coffeetown Press. In 2014, they worked as an Analyst at the Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs, followed by an English Language Teacher role at Teach and Learn with Georgia. Kaitlyn then worked as a Conservation Project Leader at International Student Volunteers and as an English Instructor at the University of Maine from 2015 to 2017. In 2015, Kaitlyn also founded and served as Editor in Chief at Spire: The Maine Journal of Conservation and Sustainability. In 2017, they worked as a Skoll Foundation Consultant at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. From 2018 to 2020, Kaitlyn held the roles of Impact Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Montcalm TCR, where they managed various portfolios, conducted ESG research, and led client engagement. Kaitlyn joined OpenInvest in 2020 as an ESG Product Manager and later became an Executive Director, responsible for aligning capital with social and environmental values. In 2021, Kaitlyn Abrams joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Executive Director.

Kaitlyn Abrams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from Western Washington University, earned from 2011 to 2013. Kaitlyn then pursued a Master of Arts degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Maine from 2015 to 2017. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford from 2017 to 2018.
