Charles Cook

Charles Cook has been working in the logistics industry since 2011. Charles began their career as a Front Desk Agent at WinStar World Casino & Resort / Winston Hospitality. Charles then moved on to become a Night Auditor, Housekeeping Supervisor, Front Desk Supervisor / MOD, Daily Financials Coordinator, and Purchasing Manager. In 2020, they joined OpenKey as Logistics Manager. During their time at WinStar, Charles was responsible for overseeing a team of six in the production of streamlined logistics, accurate PO / invoice / checkbooks entry using Fishbowl and Microsoft Office, daily and monthly inventory counts on all stock items, daily analysis of departmental revenues, rewriting job tasks and standard operating procedures for daily accounting functions, maintaining an engaged and enthusiastic atmosphere, exhibiting outstanding customer relations in a professional manner, maintaining a fun and energetic departmental atmosphere, providing great customer service, organizing reporting, and working with LMS Property Management System, integrated with Agilysis & Infogenesis.

Charles Cook obtained their Associate of Science (A.S.) in General Studies from North Central Texas College between 2004 and 2007. Charles then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of North Texas between 2008 and 2011. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas in 2016.
