Chuck Smith is the current Advisor at OpenLegacy, and has been in this position since February 2020. Chuck has also held the position of Advisory Board Member at OpenLegacy from February 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President & GM, DataCenter and Hybrid Cloud at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from January 2003 to November 2017. In this role, they were responsible for HP’s multi-billion dollar server business across the entire Americas region. This included ownership of end-to-end P&L such as financial and supply chain forecasting, marketing, sales and channel strategy. Chuck was also accountable for managing the full pricing strategy, operation and execution.

Chuck Smith has also been the CXO Advisor at Muddy Gecko from October 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for strategy, resource deployment and execution across multiple customer segments, broad two-tier distribution network and geographic responsibility for US, Canada and Latin American operations and results.

Chuck Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a specialty in marketing and marketing management. Chuck also has a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University, where they specialized in data modeling and warehousing. For their undergraduate degree, Chuck Smith attended Pitzer College and earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in history. In addition to their degrees, Chuck Smith has several certifications, including ones from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
