Jared Bauters

Jared Bauters has worked in the field of silicon photonics hardware design since 2008. Jared began their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCSB in 2008. In 2013, they moved to Aurrion as an Optoelectronic Device Engineer. In 2016, they joined Juniper Networks as a Silicon Photonics Hardware Engineer. In 2022, they were promoted to Sr. Manager, Silicon Photonics Hardware Design at OpenLight.

Jared Bauters received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2008. Jared then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, which they completed in 2010. Jared then continued their studies at UC Santa Barbara and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2013.
