Alexandru Călinică

Alexandru Călinică has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Alexandru began their career in 2014 as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Electronic Arts (EA), where they tested games for potential bugs and reported them using Jira.

In 2017, they joined Asimetru Srl as a Web Developer, where they developed websites for local and international businesses using WordPress and Webflow. Alexandru also collaborated with a remote graphic/web designer and participated in project negotiations and brief establishment with clients.

In 2019, Alexandru joined Executive Kreative as a Javascript Developer, focusing on front-end development for CRM and ERP applications. Alexandru gained experience in ReactJs, ApolloClient, Axios, Formik, NodeJs, Express, ApolloServer, Sequelize, JWT, bcrypt.

In 2020, Alexandru joined DOTTS as a Full-Stack Software Developer, working with Typescript, React, Node.js, Redux, Redux-Observables, TypeORM, TypeGraphQL, and Docker. Alexandru followed an agile development environment and utilized lerna.js for monorepo versioning.

From 2021 to 2022, Alexandru worked at OLX Group as a Frontend Engineer, contributing to front-end development in an unspecified technology stack.

In 2022, they transitioned to Adservio as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they worked until mid-2023. Alexandru later became a Lead Frontend Developer, gaining additional responsibilities and experience.

As of 2023, Alexandru is employed as a Senior Frontend Developer at Openline, a company that is part of the Y Combinator (YC) S22 startup program.

Alexandru Călinică completed a Front End Course at Wantsome from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universitatea de Arte "George Enescu" din Iași, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Their earlier education includes attending Dimitrie Cuclin Highschool of Arts in Galați from 2008 to 2012, with a focus on Architecture. Additionally, they received a certification in React Global Online Summit 2023 from Geekle.us in March 2023.
