Andrew W. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew started their career in 1999 and 2000 as a Physical Education & Recreation Training Staff for the Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC).

In 2001, Andrew worked as the Coordinator of Referee Development and later as the Competitive Indoor Soccer Referee-in-Chief & Supervisor for Campus Recreation at the Department of Athletics - University of Waterloo.

From 2003 to 2003, Andrew served as a National Athletic Instructors Course Divisional Officer for the Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC), where they instructed cadets in leadership, physical education, coaching, and refereeing.

From 2006 to 2012, Andrew worked for Nelson Education as a Higher Education Sales & Editorial Representative, driving sales revenue and developing selling strategies. Andrew later transitioned to the role of Operations Liaison, providing technical support and training to customer support staff.

From 2013 to 2014, Andrew worked as a Teaching Assistant/Tutor for the Department of English and American Studies at The Philipp University of Marburg, delivering lessons, grading tests and exams, and assisting professors.

From 2014 to 2019, Andrew worked for Desjardins General Insurance Group, first as an Agency Specialist where they collaborated with agents to help them meet production targets, and later as a Senior Operational Efficiency Advisor, representing the Desjardins Exclusive Agent network in major projects and ensuring successful integration of products, processes, and technologies.

Andrew's most recent role is with Openly, where they started in 2020 as an Agent Relationship Specialist and progressed to Senior Agent Relationship Specialist. Andrew then transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance and Training Specialist before assuming their current position as Customer Experience Enablement Lead in 2023.

Andrew W. pursued their undergraduate studies from 2000 to 2004 at the University of Waterloo, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on general studies in this field. After a gap of several years, they returned to academics in 2012 and completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in North American Studies (Cultural and Literature Studies) from The Philipp University of Marburg in 2014. In addition to their educational achievements, Andrew W. also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Six Sigma Global in May 2017.
