Kevin Sullivan

Kevin Sullivan has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Kevin is currently the Director of Actuarial Research at Openly since April 2021. Prior to that, Kevin worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance for 16 years, holding various roles. Kevin was an Actuary responsible for overseeing quarterly profitability indications for Auto and Homeowners lines at the countrywide level, managing a team and presenting to senior management. Kevin also managed Auto profitability indications at the state and countrywide level, partnering with various teams and Directors of State Operations. Kevin previously managed quarterly reserve reviews for Commercial Markets segments and tracked and analyzed loss trends for Auto and Homeowners lines. Kevin started their career at Liberty Mutual as a Senior Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Analyst, supporting underwriters and developing reporting and planning models. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Kevin was a Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant at Boston College from 2002 to 2005.

Kevin Sullivan completed their Master of Science in Physics from Boston College from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Boston University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Kevin's early education includes attending Saint John's Preparatory School (Danvers) from 1993 to 1997, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In addition to their formal education, Kevin obtained the certification of Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) in May 2011, awarded by the Casualty Actuarial Society.
