Thomas Nelson has worked in the tech industry for over 30 years. From 1990 to 2008, they were a Systems Engineer at Motion Control Engineering, where they supported desktops and servers, covering all aspects from initial deployment to end user support. Thomas also deployed and maintained servers in a mixed Novell & Windows environment. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Sr. Systems Engineer at PRIDE Industries, where they maintained Blade Server infrastructure, setup colocation of Infor LN ERP system, and deployed a new laptop backup system with a cost savings of $15k/year. Thomas also did custom programming for What's Up Gold monitoring. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Sr. Systems Engineer at VPI - Voice Print International. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they were a Youtuber at Tom's Tech Show.

Thomas Nelson attended California State University-Sacramento from 1983 to 1985, studying Technology and Programming.
