Leon Abudaram is 20+ years of Technology and Operations executive with a highly successful track record of global leadership, strategy, client-facing information delivery and new product development. He is experienced in asset management, enterprise-wide big data and analytics solutions, middle and back-office functions and has an extensive background in driving efficiencies in mature organizations. He is also known for providing leadership for nimble, time-to-market focused fin-tech and start-up programs where he typically uses innovation to drive new business models, operational productivity, and team motivation.

Before his current role, Leon Abudaram had a long career with Citi where he was the CIO of Investor Services. Under Leon’s leadership, 1000+ people technology organization was transformed into an execution-focused high-energy team which met all mission-critical delivery commitments. Leon initially joined Citi as the Chief Technology Officer for Citi Alternative Investments where he had to build front to back platforms for various asset classes while balancing the needs of a highly regulated global bank with the agile, quick to market needs of hedge funds.

Before Citi role, Mr. Abudaram was the Chief Operating Officer for Intellexchange, a web-based financial and technology B2B exchange services company. Before that Mr. Abudaram was also the head of global application development for Standard and Poor’s Credit Ratings Group. During his tenure, Leon led the effort to deliver Standard & Poor’s premier e-commerce product, Ratings Direct, to market.

Mr. Abudaram holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and B.A. in Economics from Iowa State University and currently is an advisor to start-ups in Finance and Insurance industries.
