Transparency Innovation Lead at OpenSC

Ganesh Swaminathan has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various companies and organizations. In 2012, Ganesh worked as a Guest Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical System. In 2014, they joined JPMorgan Chase as a Business Analyst for a brief period. In the same year, they also worked as an Analyst at the Stanford Petroleum Investment Committee. From 2015 to 2019, Ganesh worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. In 2018, they took on the role of an Analyst at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), where they were involved in the development of a $100M women's livelihood bond. In 2019, Ganesh became the Co-President of Wharton Impact Investing Partners, a role they held until 2021. During this time, they also worked as a Summer Investment Associate at Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners (SIP) in 2020. In 2020, Ganesh joined Spike Ventures as a Fellow, where they were part of a venture capital firm and community of Stanford alumni investors, executives, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts. Currently, they are working as the Transparency Innovation Lead at OpenSC, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they were a Project Leader and Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2021 to 2022.

Ganesh Swaminathan's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Raffles Institution and obtained a Raffles Diploma, which provided a general education similar to GCE O' Level. Ganesh continued their education at Raffles Institution in 2007, where they pursued a GCE A' Level and studied subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, and Economics until 2008. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, Ganesh attended The Johns Hopkins University and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Ganesh then pursued further education at Stanford University from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Ganesh later enrolled at The Wharton School in 2019 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Business Analytics in 2021.
