Jason Olson

Jason Olson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced software solutions across various companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at OpenSesame since December 2020, Jason focuses on enhancing eLearning platforms to create productive workforces. Prior to this role, Jason was a Senior Software Engineer at SAP Concur, where a new web services platform was developed using Kubernetes and AWS. Jason also held multiple senior management positions at Microsoft from June 2006 to September 2015, notably managing the design of video editing APIs for Windows 10 and contributing to the development of the Windows Runtime. Jason began their career as a Software Developer at Fios, Inc. and RMLS, gaining foundational experience in agile development and classic ASP. Jason's educational background includes studies at Mt. Hood Community College from 1998 to 2001.
