Owen Wessling

Owen Wessling is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at OpenSesame since November 2022, Owen previously held the position of Principal Architect at SAP Concur from August 2018 until July 2022, where responsibilities included resolving functional, scalability, and security challenges associated with cloud migration and promoting security and code quality practices. Prior to that, a long tenure at Oracle Corp. spanned over two decades, culminating in the role of Director of Engineering, where Owen directed the development of a Mobile Application Framework and led a significant transition to Scrum methodologies across the organization. Owen's educational background includes a Master's of Engineering and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
