Kevin Fennessey

Kevin Fennessey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Kevin is currently serving as the Director of Finance at OpenSpace since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Molekule, starting as a Finance Manager from August 2018 to March 2019, then transitioning to Head of FP&A from April 2019 to November 2019, and finally serving as Controller & Director of Finance from December 2019 to August 2021. Before joining Molekule, Kevin worked at Winsor Consult Group as a Senior Manager, Analytics from March 2016 to August 2018. Kevin also has prior experience working at TransCanada as an Environmental Specialist from January 2007 to December 2010 and as a Maintenance Program Manager from January 2011 to November 2015. Kevin began their career in the US Navy as a Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer from May 2001 to May 2006.

Kevin Fennessey obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Analytics & Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Kevin attended NYU Stern from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Kevin also obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2012.
