Songnian Liu, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of biology and lab automation. Songnian is currently working as a Field Application Scientist at Opentrons Labworks Inc., where they are responsible for managing a liquid handling robot portfolio and coordinating post-sale onboarding training for customers. Songnian has also contributed to sales revenue and established strong customer relationships. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at GenScript. Songnian has also held teaching positions as a Biology Instructor at Quinnipiac University and Rappahannock Community College. Songnian has conducted research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University and as a Research Associate at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
