Steve Helvie

Steve Helvie serves as the Vice President of Emerging Markets - International at the Open Compute Project Foundation, focusing on exploring new markets for open source technologies and establishing key alliances. Previously, Steve held various roles, including Vice President of Channel Development and Director of International Sales for Rackspace, leading efforts in the EMEA and APAC regions. Prior experiences include pivotal positions at Microsoft, where Steve defined strategies for Cloud Services and Business Applications across Asia Pacific, and as an Enterprise Account Executive at Aptean. An advocate for open technology, Steve also acts as an International Ambassador for OpenUK. Educational qualifications include advanced studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, MIT Sloan Executive Education, and The London School of Economics, alongside degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Purdue University, both in Agricultural Economics.
