Rebecca Ackerman

Rebecca Ackerman has a diverse range of work experience in the arts and culture sector. Rebecca began their career at OPERA America in 2004 as a Membership Manager, where they worked until 2007. Rebecca then joined Symphony Space as the Manager of Individual Giving and later became the Associate Director of Development for Individual Giving, holding these positions from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, where they served as the Director of Membership until 2017. Currently, Rebecca is working at Opera Philadelphia, initially as the Director of Individual Giving and Advancement Services from 2017 to 2022, and now as the Senior Director of Development since June 2022.

Rebecca Ackerman pursued their education at different institutions over the years. From 2009 to 2012, they attended NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where they obtained a Master's in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy (MPA). Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended Colgate University, but the specific degree and field of study during this time period remain unspecified.
