Evp, Operation HOPE / President, Financial Literacy For All at Operation HOPE

Eric Kaplan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several organizations. Eric is currently serving as the President of Financial Literacy For All, a national initiative aimed at promoting financial literacy in various sectors of society. Previously, they held the role of EVP and President of Financial Literacy for All at Operation HOPE, an organization dedicated to disrupting poverty and promoting free enterprise among underserved communities.

Prior to their work in the non-profit sector, Kaplan worked as a Senior Advisor at the Milken Institute, focusing on housing finance reform and policy formation. Eric also served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for Kroll Bond Rating Agency.

In the public sector, Kaplan chaired the Consumer Advisory Board at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and served as Vice Chair before that. Eric also held various senior positions at financial institutions such as Ranieri Strategies, Shellpoint Partners LLC, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo.

Throughout their career, Kaplan has demonstrated expertise in structured finance, mortgage finance, and asset securitization.

Eric Kaplan attended Princeton University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained an AB degree in Politics. Following their time at Princeton, they went on to study at Boston University School of Law from 1990 to 1993, where they completed their JD degree. No specific field of study is provided for their law degree.
