Elizabeth Coté has a diverse work experience spanning across various organizations and roles. Currently, they are the Vice President of Global Medical Education at Operation Smile, where they lead the Global Medical Education Department in improving the lives of one million patients in the next decade through innovative medical educational programs. Elizabeth also worked at Catholic Charities Maine as the Medical Director, at HYKE (formerly MyHealthMath) as the President and Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer, and at NICHQ as the Chief Health Officer. In addition, they have held positions at the Indian Health Service, the U.S. Department of State, Brigham and Women's Hospital, the White House Fellows Foundation & Association, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, global health, medical education, and leadership to their roles.

Elizabeth Coté attended Wellesley College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience. Elizabeth later attended Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2009, and during the same period from 2007 to 2009, they also pursued a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard Kennedy School. Elizabeth holds a medical license MD from the State of Maine.
