Jimmy Su

Jimmy Su is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biomedical engineering and cell culture media development. Currently serving as Scientist III at OPM Biosciences since March 2024, Jimmy was the first technical team hire responsible for operationalizing a new unit. Prior roles include Scientist II at Mission Barns, where research focused on biomaterials for cultivated meat, and positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Northwestern University as postdoctoral researcher and scholar, respectively, working on advanced regenerative engineering and materials engineering. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
