Babar Hayat

Babar Hayat is a seasoned engineering professional with over a decade of experience in the mobile technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Chief Engineer at OPPO since June 2022, Babar previously worked at Samsung India Electronic Private Limited from February 2011 to May 2022, where roles included Chief Engineer and Lead Software Engineer, focusing on project management for mobile and tablet launches in the Europe/CIS region. Babar began their career at Samsung as a Software Engineer in the Android Framework Team, developing innovative features and optimizing the Android system, and also completed a six-month internship focused on CDMA mobile phone frameworks. Babar holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Jamia Millia Islamia.
