Albert Miquel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Albert began their career in 2004 as a Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer at eJoventut. In 2005, they worked as a Nonprofit Consultant in Nicaragua, where they identified recruitment and training needs for the Mayor's staff.
From 2006 to 2007, they co-founded and served as the Chief Marketing Officer at think in grid, a startup focused on distributed computing technology. Albert raised €16K in funding and developed business relationships with prospective clients.
In 2007, Albert joined Globalpraxis as an Associate, where they implemented a new commercial model for a Spanish brewery. Albert also served as a Senior Consultant from 2012 to 2013, focusing on FMCG strategy consulting.
From 2013 to 2017, Albert worked at Avon as the Head of Strategy for the IMED cluster, overseeing operations in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece.
Most recently, they joined Opportunity Network in 2017, initially as an Account Director and later as the Global Head of Sales and Implementation. In this role, they defined and achieved global sales objectives and managed a team of 10 account managers responsible for more than 15,000 members across 100 countries.
From 2001 to 2006, Albert Miquel attended Esade where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. In 2006, they also spent a brief period as an MBA Exchange Student at the International University of Japan, furthering their studies in Business.
