The Position: 

We are seeking a dynamic copywriter to join our marketing team. Do you consider yourself a storyteller? At OPSWAT you’ll write clear, persuasive, and relevant copy that incites action, and creates/raises awareness for OPSWAT’s product offerings while laddering up to the brand’s overall story. Focusing on a core line of business, you will collaborate with product marketing, subject matter experts, content strategy, other writers, and designers to develop relevant and engaging marketing communications to grow our customer base, drive revenue, and raise brand awareness.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop informative and compelling short-and long-form content for various B2B cybersecurity audiences across all marketing channels.
  • Create, proofread, and edit content for diverse mediums, including digital ad copy, email sequences, newsletters, web copy, infographics, video scripts, blogs, eBooks, and product collateral.
  • Collaborate with product marketing stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information for comprehensive content such as white papers and case studies.
  • Manage creative content projects to ensure stakeholder approval and that project deadlines are met.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for novel content opportunities and formats.
  • Uphold the consistency of brand voice, style, and standards within all communications.
  • Collaborate with designers to create compelling marketing communications that prompt audience engagement and action.
  • Use data analytics to evaluate and improve content performance and delivery.
  • Support SEO optimization efforts, ensuring web content is search engine-friendly and targeted towards specific keywords.

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, with significant experience writing for marketing.
  • Have 1-3 year(s) of experience creating and adapting content across a range of mediums.
  • Online portfolio showcasing relevant examples of your work.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong research capabilities and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SEO writing and understanding of SEO principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across time zones and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience coordinating with freelance writers and agency partners.
  • Commitment to professional and ethical representation of our company at all times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
  • Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work.

It Would Be Nice If You Have:

  • A robust understanding of B2B Technology audience segmentation/personas/buyer behavior, especially within the CIS and Cybersecurity industries.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support writing efforts.
  • Understanding of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
  • Experience or knowledge in cybersecurity.
  • Multi-lingual capabilities.
