Hiroshi Sekiya

Hiroshi Sekiya has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Hiroshi began their career at Systems Planning Corporation as a Systems Engineer, where they worked from 1984 to 1989. Hiroshi then joined Sun Microsystems and held multiple positions, including Group Leader/Senior Engineer, Assistant Manager, and Chief Evangelist/Technology Evangelist/Field Marketing. Hiroshi worked at Sun Microsystems for a total of 19 years, from 1989 to 2008. After leaving Sun Microsystems, they worked at SGI as Senior Manager of the Marketing Division from 2009 to 2010. Hiroshi then joined Dell as the North Asia, Enterprise Senior Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2013. Following their time at Dell, they worked at Symantec as a Sr. Program Manager in Enterprise Mobility and Enterprise Security Product Development from 2013 to 2017. Hiroshi then joined PwC Japan as a Cyber Security & Privacy Consultant from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are working at OPSWAT in a marketing role starting in 2018.

Hiroshi Sekiya holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tokyo University of Science. As for additional certifications, Sekiya has obtained various certifications from OPSWAT Academy, including Introduction to Critical Infrastructure Protection Certification, OPSWAT Data-Transfer Security Associate Certification, OPSWAT Email Security Associate Certificate, OPSWAT Endpoint Compliance Associate Certificate, OPSWAT File Security Associate Certification, OPSWAT Legacy-System Security Associate Certificate, OPSWAT Network Security Associate Certificate, and OPSWAT Web-Traffic Protection Associate Certificate. These certifications were all obtained in December 2021. Additionally, Sekiya holds OPSWAT Certified Cybersecurity Associate, OPSWAT Certified MetaAccess Associate, OPSWAT Certified MetaDefender Associate, OPSWAT Certified Secure Data Workflow Associate, and OPSWAT Critical Infrastructure Protection Associate certifications, which were obtained in October 2019.
