Uy Nhiem Tran's work experience begins in 2018 when they worked as a Network & Telecomm Services Operations Technician at Kent State University. In this role, they sorted and resolved tickets related to network issues, set up desk stations, and maintained data servers.

In 2022, Uy Nhiem Tran started working at OPSWAT as a Software Engineer Intern. During this time, they studied various design patterns and implemented different data structures.

Afterwards, they transitioned to the role of Associate Software Engineer at OPSWAT, where they implemented parsers, writers, and sanitizers for various file types, added support for symbolic link files, and introduced a new framework for automation testing.
