Tom Bancroft

Tom Bancroft has extensive work experience in operations, specifically in the medical device manufacturing industry. Tom'smost recent role is as the Vice President of Operations at OPT Industries, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at CooperSurgical, where they held various senior positions. These include Senior Director of Operations, where they were responsible for North American manufacturing operations, and Director of Operations, where they led the startup of a manufacturing facility in Costa Rica. Before CooperSurgical, Tom worked at ORIGIO, where they served as a Value Stream Manager and oversaw manufacturing operations for multiple product lines. Tom also held roles as a Production Supervisor and Purchasing Specialist, where they managed production teams, optimized processes, and procured materials for medical device manufacturing. Overall, Tom has a strong background in operations management, with experience in strategic goal setting, team development, supply chain management, and compliance with industry standards.

Tom Bancroft completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at James Madison University from 2005 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Tom also obtained a certification in CPIM from APICS in February 2014.
