Andrew Downie started their work experience in 2014 as a Manager at ABC Outlets, where they were responsible for ordering stock, training staff, and managing the finances of the business. In 2015, they worked as an Assistant Valuer at the City of Stonnington. From 2016 to 2016, they worked as an Agricultural Investment Analyst at Landmark Harcourts, where they constructed market appraisal reports and feasibility analysis reports for rural properties. From 2016 onwards, Andrew joined Opteon, initially working as an Assistant Property Valuer, specializing in residential development valuations. Andrew then became a Certified Practicing Valuer, focusing on residential development valuations, public open space valuations, and advisory work for local municipalities. Currently, Andrew holds the position of Commercial Valuer & Business Development Manager at Opteon, where they aim to diversify income streams and contribute to larger residential development valuations in metro Melbourne and Geelong.
Andrew Downie attended Scotch College, Hawthorn from 2006 to 2011 where they completed their VCE. Andrew then went on to RMIT University from 2012 to 2015 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Property Valuation (Honours).
