Karen Bates

Karen Bates has extensive work experience in the property and agribusiness sectors. Karen is currently working as an Associate Director Commercial, Agribusiness and Advisory at Opteon AUS & NZ since August 2022. Prior to this role, Karen worked at Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle & Central Coast from October 2020 to August 2022 as an Associate Director. Before that, they served as a Senior Property Valuer at the same company from August 2013 to October 2020.

Karen Bates obtained their Bachelor's degree in business, majoring in property resource management with a focus on valuation from the University of South Australia. Karen completed this degree between 1991 and 1993. Later, they pursued their Master's degree in Accounting from Curtin University, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
