Yosepha Shahak Ravid

Yosepha Shahak Ravid has been working in the science field for over 40 years. Yosepha began their career in 1980 as a Senior Scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Yosepha then moved to ARO The Volcani Center in 1991, where they held the role of Senior Scientist, heading the Photobiology Research group and the Department of Citriculrure. In 2018, they joined Opti-Harvest, Inc. as Chief Science Officer.

Yosepha Shahak Ravid obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1961 to 1971. Yosepha then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Plant Biology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1971 to 1974. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Weizmann Institute of Science from 1974 to 1978.
