Melanie Lussier has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Team Manager for Pacific Field Hockey. In 2011, they took on the role of Office Assistant for Westgate Center & Institute for Family Business. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Customer Service Representative for Grace on the Avenue. Melanie then moved on to Campbell Physical Therapy & Sportscare, where they worked as a Physical Therapy Aide from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Stanford Health Care as a Rehabilitation Aide, where they held the position until 2019. During this time, they were also a member of the Rehab Council and was awarded the Captain America, Tech Savvy, and Most Energetic awards. In 2019, they became a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist for Silicon Valley Ergonomics, LLC. In 2020, they took on two roles, Office Manager for OpTic Gaming and Wellness Coordinator for Kindred Healthcare. Prior to this, they had worked as a Sport Nutrition Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer for the National Council on Strength & Fitness - NCSF from 2015 to 2020.

Melanie Lussier completed their high school diploma from Presentation High School in 2007. Melanie then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sports Medicine from the University of the Pacific in 2012. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: Critical Thinking for More Effective Communication (May 2022) and Communicating with Confidence (April 2022).
