Genaro Montanez has over 25 years of work experience, starting with their role as Manager of Operations at Lehman Brothers from January 1995 to December 1997. Genaro then worked as an HR Generalist at Village Voice from 1997 to 2002. From 2003 to 2004, they served as an HR Manager at the Epilepsy Foundation. Genaro then transitioned to the role of Sr. Human Resources Manager at the American Chemical Society from 2004 to 2008. Genaro continued to advance in their career as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration at College Summit from 2008 to 2012. Genaro'smost recent position was Chief HR & Membership Engagement Officer at Optica, starting in 2012.
Genaro Montanez completed their Bachelor of Management Studies, with a minor in Human Resources, at the University of Maryland from 2005 to 2009. Genaro then pursued a Dual MBA Program with a Master of Science in Financial Management and a Master of Science in Information Systems at the same university from 2011 to 2015.
