Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith is an experienced meeting coordinator currently working at Optica since May 2022, contributing to the Hybrid Event Team and participating in eight conferences, including five international events in countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK. Prior to this role, Rachel served as a barista at BOARD AND BREW, INC. from September 2021 to April 2023 and also worked at Dolcezza Gelato Holding LLC and YMCA Camp Seafarer as a senior in charge camp counselor. Rachel began a career in customer service as a hostess server at Gringos & Mariachis from September 2017 to March 2020. Rachel holds a high school diploma from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, graduating in May 2019, and attended the University of Maryland.
